Environmental management
In the second part we go deeper in understanding environmental changes by looking into the earth as a supplier of resources and analyzing globalization as a process.
In the third part we analyze political responses to environmental change, starting from the changing global political landscape and going in detail on the political response on different levels (global, supranational an mono governmental).
In the last part we examine the environmental polity in Business and have a overview on green business.
The course starts from a theoretical framework on environment and ecosystems.

The student will be asked to solve several (small) cases; these cases will allow the student to improve his/her communication techniques. Furthermore, active student participation is expected.

Assessment details
At the end of the course there will be an oral examination on theory. The student will furthermore have to defend a take-home case.
